D. K.SAHU: D – 1351

A forty two years old male patient was having dry, scaly, itchy, circular, thickened psoriatic skin lesions on left leg for the last 2 years. Mycological examination showed the presence of fungal elements. Culture was later identified, as Pityrosporum species. Final diagnosis made was Psoriasis with superadded fungal infection. After 8 months of treatment psoriatic skin lesions on leg were almost cleared.

NEYAZ AHMAD: N – 00048

A forty six years old male patient was having itchy, erythematous, scaly, psoriatic skin lesions on whole body especially abdomen for the last 2 years with peak aggravation in winters. Mycological examination showed the presence of fungal elements. Culture was later identified, as Trichophyton species. Final diagnosis made was Psoriasis with superadded Dermatophytosis. Within 3 months of treatment psoriatic skin lesions were almost cleared.

A thirteen years old female patient was having itchy, scaly, maculopapular, circumscribed, scaly, psoriatic skin lesions all over body for the last 12 years. Mycological examination showed the presence of fungal elements. Culture was later identified, as Trichophyton species. Final diagnosis made was Psoriasis with superadded Dermatophytosis. After 8 months of treatment psoriatic skin lesions were almost cleared.

A forty years old male patient was having discolored, itchy, scaly, circumscribed, psoriatic skin lesions all over body for the last 10 years. Mycological examination showed the presence of fungal elements. Culture was later identified, as Trichophyton species. Final diagnosis made was Psoriasis with superadded Dermatophytosis. After 13 months of treatment psoriatic skin lesions were much better.
